Hello,
My name is Joana; I am Portuguese and live in London with my husband and our four children. They're my everything.
You can always find me around North and East London with my kids on our cargo bike, exploring cool cafes and great activities for them.
During my demanding days of tantrums, feeding and pleasure, I try to find some free time to shoot and keep my inspiration and creativity fed.
I am passionate about photography, education, travel and children's fashion.
I'm always with my camera to photograph the life of my kids as it naturally happens, throughout the day. I love to capture the world or everyday life as it exists, without editing the scene. So when I look at my pictures, I can smell, hear and feel the emotions of that moment. And this is what I want you to feel, your life without poses.
I have a degree in Media Studies and a Master's in Marketing Management. I have worked in Digital Marketing and ran my own online fashion company. My family and friends have always asked me to photograph intimate and social events, but since my first child was born in 2015, I turned my passion into a profession.
